Award-winning illustrator, painter, cartoonist, book designer and a senior lecturer and associateprofessor at Otis College of Art and Design, J.T. Steiny has illustrated numerous books, including The Crowded Bed by Toby Bobes and Barbara Rothman and Buzz Words: L.A. Fresh Speak by Anna Scotti and Paul Young. His animation clients include Henson Productions, Saban Entertainment and Klasky-Csupo. Art coordinator for the after-school youth program, Heart of Los Angeles Youth from 2000-2006, Steiny was honored in 2017 with the Otis Distinguished Educator Award.
